David with Tri-Lakes Media here, and I have been waiting for a year to review this optic. Having finally got my hands on the 4x16x44 FFP version, I can say with confidence that this is one of the best optics values on the market, regardless of price. The glass is some of the clearest I have seen; comparable with a high-end Leupold that was on hand, and absolutely blows away the Vortex glass that was present for comparison. The light gathering and clarity are top notch. This scope is not a LER unit, but the eye-box is generous, regardless of magnification setting. I did all of my testing for this unit on a Kel-Tec RFB in .308. In total, 400+ rounds were ran through the rifle during testing. Glass clarity, a clear and useful reticle, and reliable tracking from the turrets make this optic an absolute beast. I banged it around, froze it, shot the crap out of it, and it still tracked perfectly at 200 yards. The focus works awesome, and the reticle illumination is visible and devoid of the color bleeding that is often associated with other reticles of this type. The bottom line is during the few months I have spent with this optic, it has far outshined my Vortex units, and is well on-par with my Leupolds.
Great Value for a Low Price I purchased the scope through eBay and paid a little more than the advertised price. Still a great deal. I mounted it on an AR15 with a 20inch 1:9 varmint barrel. The scope was easy to zero. Before long I was consistently getting tight groups at 300 yards (the limit of our range). The range of the scope is very good, edge sharpness is remarkable for the price. Shooting several weeks later, the zero held very well. I have not done any technical testing, but I really like the scope. The front focal plane is a real plus. I highly recommend the scope for anyone who wants to do accurate long distance shooting and not break the bank.
