ACME Machine Junior High Power Rifle Clinic - Van Meter

Sponsored by ACME Machine in partnership with the Civilian Marksmanship Program and Veteran's Family Brigade Instructors (compiled of military Veterans who are former and current national champions, donating their time to teach).

At the conclusion of the event, we will have prizes for youth participants as well as donated upper receivers for the winners of the fun-match, per category, on day two.

Firing will be shot on electronic targets from 200-600 yards, so you will need to have a phone/tablet to access/view shot placements. Additional details and specifics will follow as we get closer to the clinic dates, (directions, parking, weather, exact times, course of fire, etc.) Equipment such as rifles, ammunition, optics, mats, etc. will be provided for Juniors. Shooters are encouraged to bring their own eye protection and lunch and dress appropriately for weather.)

Adults/Parents are welcome to attend, but priority of firing time will go to the youth. We have limited space (age 12+) but will take back up registrations to assess what we need to make preparations to accommodate if need be. This is a two-day event. Day one is classroom instruction with safety, weapons handling, positions, and overall familiarization to get started in High Power/AR Tactical rifle shooting, on-line coaching and live firing practice. Day two will be more live firing with a scored fun match and prizes.
